Maruti sweetens the deal with perks like a free home charger installation, one year of complimentary charging, and an 8-year/1.6 lakh km battery warranty with 60% buyback after three years.

Production at the Gujarat plant shares lines with models like the Fronx, so initial supplies might be tight until capacity ramps up by July 2026.

At its core, the e Vitara packs two battery choices: a 49 kWh unit in the Delta trim delivering 142 BHP and 193 Nm torque with a 440 km ARAI range, or the punchier 61 kWh pack in Zeta and Alpha variants offering 172 BHP and a class-leading 543 km range.
Both front-wheel-drive setups use a permanent magnet synchronous motor, with drive modes like Eco, Normal, Sport, and even Snow for versatility.
Charging is straightforward—6.5 hours for the smaller battery or 9 hours via a 7.4 kW AC home charger, and a quick 45 minutes (10-80%) on DC fast chargers.
